This Cookie Policy explains how Learnture Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (CIN U74999MH2017PTC460694), trading as Board Infinity ("we", "us", "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on www.boardinfinity.com, the InfyLearn platform and the white-labelled tenant instances we provide to partner institutions (together, the "Service"). It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Where you access the Service through a partner institution's branded instance, that institution is the Data Fiduciary for your learning data and may configure its own tags on its instance. In that case this policy describes our own use of cookies, and the institution's notice governs theirs. The terms on which we process data for institutions are in our Data Processing Addendum.
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, and which the browser sends back on later visits. Cookies let a site recognise your browser, keep you signed in between pages, and remember choices you have made.
We also use technologies that behave like cookies but are not cookies. Local storage and session storage keep small amounts of data in the browser itself; session storage is discarded when you close the tab. A pixel or tag is a small piece of code on a page that reports that the page was loaded. Where this policy says "cookies", it means all of these unless we say otherwise.
First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by another company whose code runs on our pages — for example our analytics or advertising providers.
Strictly necessary. Required to run the Service and to keep it secure — signing you in, keeping you signed in as you move between pages, and protecting forms against cross-site request forgery. The Service cannot work without these, so they are always set and cannot be switched off through a consent banner. They are not used for analytics or advertising.
Functional. Remember a choice you have made so you do not have to make it again, such as which organisation a public planner page was opened for. These improve the experience but the Service works without them.
Analytics and performance. Help us understand which pages and features are used, where people get stuck, and whether something is broken. We use these in aggregate to improve the Service.
Advertising. Used to serve advertising and to limit how often you see the same advertisement. These are set on the public www.boardinfinity.com site only. They are not set on partner institution tenant instances.
We do not use social-network sharing cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

The providers below run code on our pages and may set their own cookies. We have configured each of them for the purpose stated and nothing more, but the cookies belong to them and are governed by their own policies.

We do not currently use Meta or Facebook pixels, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight, Hotjar or any live-chat or marketing-automation cookie. Where you see such code referenced in older material, it is not active.
The cookie banner. On our public pages we show a banner asking you to accept or reject non-essential cookies, and we record your response so you are not asked repeatedly. We are currently extending this banner so that analytics and advertising scripts are loaded only after you accept. Until that change is released, the most reliable way to prevent non-essential cookies is to use the browser and provider controls below, and those controls take effect immediately.
Your browser. Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, block third-party cookies, or block cookies entirely. The controls are usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you being able to sign in.
Opting out with the providers. You can opt out of PostHog analytics by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser, which PostHog honours. You can control Google advertising cookies, including personalisation, in your Google account's Ad Settings, and you can opt out of third-party advertising cookies across many providers at youronlinechoices.com or optout.aboutads.info.
Mobile and device settings. On mobile devices you can also limit ad tracking through the operating system's privacy settings.
Strictly necessary cookies are set because they are required to deliver the Service you have asked for. For analytics and advertising cookies we rely on your consent, and under Section 6(4) of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may withdraw that consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect anything already lawfully done before you withdrew.
Where you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we treat the setting of non-essential cookies as requiring your consent under the ePrivacy rules and Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and the same controls apply.
To withdraw consent: clear the cookies for this site in your browser and reject the banner on your next visit, apply the provider opt-outs in Section 5, or write to us at admin@boardinfinity.com and we will action it. You can also ask us for a copy of the analytics data associated with your account, or ask us to delete it, using the rights process in our Privacy Policy.
The duration of each cookie is listed in the tables above. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Where a third party sets a cookie, the retention of the data behind it is governed by that provider's policy. Aggregated analytics that can no longer be linked to an individual may be retained for longer, because it is no longer personal data.
We will update this policy when we add, remove or change a cookie or a provider. The version number and effective date at the top show when it last changed. Where a change materially affects non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent again rather than rely on a consent given for something else.
